Our Infinite Potential

Behind the light in every little bulb is a great dynamic current, beneath every little wave is the vast ocean, which has become the many waves.  So it is with human beings.  God made every man in His image and gave each one freedom.  But you forget the Source of your being and the unequaled power of God that is an inherent part of you. The possibilities of this world are limitless; the potential progress of man is limitless.

The real You is the prolific Source of all power; but the everyday you is only a fragment of that which can be brought out and manifested.  The basic You is infinite in its potentiality.

Old Age

« With old age approaching, we are naturally inclined to look back, and for many people there then begins a period of regrets. They feel they have spent too much time on futile things, but that even if they tried to change course and give more space to their inner life, it is too late; they will never make up for lost time. Obviously, when old age has arrived, it is a bit late for a complete change of life, but it is not too late – it is never too late – to begin something constructive. The worst thing for these people would be to spend the rest of their life full of regrets. It is understandable that they should regret, but there are better things to do than regret. They can at least go back over all the events of their life and try to learn lessons from them. Once they have learned these lessons, let them employ all the love, intelligence and willpower they have left, to give their life the meaning they have not yet been able to find. »

Your Struggle is the Human Struggle

A total, an enriching revolution cannot take place unless you and I understand ourselves as a total process. You and I are not isolated individuals but are the result of the whole human struggle with its illusions, fancies, pursuits, ignorance, strife, conflict, and misery. One cannot begin to alter the condition of the world without understanding oneself. If you see that, there is immediately within you a complete revolution, is there not? Then no guru is necessary because knowledge of oneself is from moment to moment, it is not the accumulation of hearsay, nor is it contained in the precepts of religious teachers. Because you are discovering yourself in relationship with another from moment to moment, relationship has a completely different meaning. Relationship then is a revelation, a constant process of the discovery of oneself, and from this self-discovery, action takes place. So, self-knowledge can come only through relationship, not through isolation. Relationship is action, and self-knowledge is the result of awareness in action.

Eradicate from your mind all notion of yourself that has to do with where you live, where you were born, what you have done, and what your circumstances have been.  We ask you to concentrate on only one thing and that is the spirit within you.

This real you, this conscious hidden intelligence that exists behind your eyes, is timeless, formless, and built from all the glory and magnificence that ever was. It is not a name or a job or a home; indeed it has nothing to do with circumstance or situation. The plain fact is that you exist. Dwell on that, nothing more.

ONLY ONE MIND AND YOU MUST USE IT

You are pure spirit, cast into human mold as a manifestation of divine intelligence, existing this little while on earth to help carry on the divine plan. Being pure spirit, you are a part of the only intelligence there is, and all the power and understanding of this intelligence are yours to draw upon.
