Letting Go

« As its name indicates, the past is ‘past’, and you do not yet hold the future. Only the present belongs to you; it lies in your hands like matter, like clay, to be modelled. You have a minute, an hour, a day… This minute, this hour, this day belong to you; do your best to live them with clarity. When, thanks to your efforts, you have cleared the space between you and the divine world, you will be able to say that the future also belongs to you. This future is joy and light.

Do not let yourself be influenced by those who predict only difficulties and misfortunes: it is simply because they do not know what the future really is or how to build it. Misfortunes are the past, not the future. Before the future can present itself – that is to say, your true future as sons and daughters of God – it is waiting for you to finish drawing lessons from the past. This future is on the move: since you are creating it, you are already beginning to live it. »

Happy New Year!

<< One year is ending and another is about to begin… But before thinking about the coming year, turn your attention for a moment to the one that is departing, and speak to it, for a year is a living being, and so you can talk to it. When you leave it, ask it to remember you. As it is alive, it does not remain idle: it has recorded not only your actions, but also your wishes, feelings and thoughts. On the last day it reports to the lords of destiny, and it connects you to the new year: you must be able to say goodbye to it before it goes for good.

As for the new year, you can begin to prepare for it consciously, by setting a goal for yourself: to get rid of a bad habit, develop a certain quality, put a plan into action for the good of all. With this thought, this wish, it is as if you were placing a first stone, and then all the benevolent spirits in nature will bring you their help, so that you can carry out your plan. These are the things you should be concerned with today: welcoming the new year in and placing yourself under the protection of the light. »

Light Without End

On the sephirotic Tree, beyond the sephirah Kether, cabbalists mention a space they have called aïn soph aur, ‘light without end’. This space is impenetrable: it is the Absolute, the Non-manifest, of which we can have no conception. Kether, as God manifest, is an emanation of this light. The Divine as understood by cabbalists is beyond light and dark, beyond created worlds. And to express this mystery of the Divine even better, beyond aïn soph aur they conceived of a region they called aïn soph, ‘without end’, and even further, beyond aïn soph, we find the region aïn, ‘without’. So at the origin of the universe there is a negation. But ‘without’, which means absence, lack, does not however mean non-existence. Aïn is not the nothingness that some have imagined the Hindus’ nirvana to be. In fact, it is exactly the opposite. Aïn soph aur, like nirvana, is a life beyond creation, beyond manifestation, and so far beyond that it appears to be a non-existence.
Aïn soph aur… aïn soph… aïn… this is how the cabbalists have sought to give an account of realities that elude our understanding. It is impossible to speak of the Absolute, but we must hold onto the notion of it and thank God, our heavenly Father, who loves us, who helps us to grow and works in our heart, for even though the words are inadequate they give us a hint of this reality. »

Enthusiasm ... God's Medicine

You have often seen a group of boys tramping off to a ball game, or going swimming, always expecting to have fun. How their eyes sparkle and the corners of their mouths turn up. They are laughing, singing, dancing, following some natural rhythm as though joy were at the center of everything.

There is an abandonment in them, a carefree attitude, and so often we say, "Isn't it too bad they must grow up and become disillusioned, that they have to enter the struggle for life and gradually be worn down with it until the boy in them is dead." And with the poet we think, "Turn backward, turn backward, O time in thy flight, and make me a child again, just for tonight."

But somehow or other we feel this is all wrong. We do not feel and we cannot believe that This Thing Called Life meant it this way. We know, as though something were forever telling us that we are created to be glad, to rejoice. What happened to us when we became adults that dampened this spontaneous joy and robbed us of that zestful anticipation which gives skill to the hands and speed to the feet?

It is a lack of enthusiasm. It is a lack of being able to enter into the game of life and play it, not merely as an onlooker, but as a participant, for we want to be out there pitching, too. We want to be out there batting for a home run.

My mother lived to be nearly a hundred years old, merely because she had an enthusiasm for life. Right to the last moment it was that way. There was nothing heavy or weighty about it, nothing sad, not even a sigh, no regrets - just a passing on from the twilight of this day into the dawn of a new tomorrow.

This is the secret - entering into the spirit of life, into the joy of living, into the usefulness of being alive. No one can grow old if he has faith and enthusiasm. We need to rediscover the well-springs of that childlike joy which gave us the happiness, the security and the faith we had as children.

Celebrating The Christ

Beloved one, leading up to your day of celebration of the Christ, allow your mind to expand to invite all of the friends that you have ever known, ever, to make their presence known to you, and feel how blessed you are, because you are not here alone. You never walk alone. Always you have your guardian angel. You have angels around you all the time, and I walk with you all of the time.

One Selfhood

“There is only one Selfhood, and that one is God. We entertain a false sense of that Self: We call that false sense Bill, Mary, or Henry, and then we are concerned about Bill, Mary, or Henry. Always there is some problem to plague us: It is the rent; it is the heart; it is the mind; or it is the friend. This will be true as long as there is concern for ourselves. Once we give up concern for this human sense of self and realize that we exist as God fulfilling Itself in an individual way, and that the responsibility is on His shoulder, we relinquish this false sense of responsibility. Then God fulfills Its destiny as individual being. To the world, it may appear that we are healthy, happy, successful, or prosperous; but we know better. Only God is healthy, happy, successful, or prosperous, and the good the world beholds is God fulfilling Itself as our destiny, when we stand aside and permit it to do so.”

Our Infinite Potential

Behind the light in every little bulb is a great dynamic current, beneath every little wave is the vast ocean, which has become the many waves.  So it is with human beings.  God made every man in His image and gave each one freedom.  But you forget the Source of your being and the unequaled power of God that is an inherent part of you. The possibilities of this world are limitless; the potential progress of man is limitless.

~~~***~~~
The real You is the prolific Source of all power; but the everyday you is only a fragment of that which can be brought out and manifested.  The basic You is infinite in its potentiality.
~~~***~~~

What you are is much greater than anything or anyone else you have ever yearned for. God is manifest in you in a way that He is not manifest in any other human being.  Your face is unlike anyone else's, your soul is unlike anyone else's, you are sufficient unto yourself, for within your soul lies the greatest treasures of all - God.

Old Age

« With old age approaching, we are naturally inclined to look back, and for many people there then begins a period of regrets. They feel they have spent too much time on futile things, but that even if they tried to change course and give more space to their inner life, it is too late; they will never make up for lost time. Obviously, when old age has arrived, it is a bit late for a complete change of life, but it is not too late – it is never too late – to begin something constructive. The worst thing for these people would be to spend the rest of their life full of regrets. It is understandable that they should regret, but there are better things to do than regret. They can at least go back over all the events of their life and try to learn lessons from them. Once they have learned these lessons, let them employ all the love, intelligence and willpower they have left, to give their life the meaning they have not yet been able to find. »

Your Struggle is the Human Struggle

A total, an enriching revolution cannot take place unless you and I understand ourselves as a total process. You and I are not isolated individuals but are the result of the whole human struggle with its illusions, fancies, pursuits, ignorance, strife, conflict, and misery. One cannot begin to alter the condition of the world without understanding oneself. If you see that, there is immediately within you a complete revolution, is there not? Then no guru is necessary because knowledge of oneself is from moment to moment, it is not the accumulation of hearsay, nor is it contained in the precepts of religious teachers. Because you are discovering yourself in relationship with another from moment to moment, relationship has a completely different meaning. Relationship then is a revelation, a constant process of the discovery of oneself, and from this self-discovery, action takes place. So, self-knowledge can come only through relationship, not through isolation. Relationship is action, and self-knowledge is the result of awareness in action.

I AM

Eradicate from your mind all notion of yourself that has to do with where you live, where you were born, what you have done, and what your circumstances have been.  We ask you to concentrate on only one thing and that is the spirit within you.

This real you, this conscious hidden intelligence that exists behind your eyes, is timeless, formless, and built from all the glory and magnificence that ever was. It is not a name or a job or a home; indeed it has nothing to do with circumstance or situation. The plain fact is that you exist. Dwell on that, nothing more.

I am.

Two more magnificent words were never put together. I am. This minute. This now. All the time that ever was.

ONLY ONE MIND AND YOU MUST USE IT

You are pure spirit, cast into human mold as a manifestation of divine intelligence, existing this little while on earth to help carry on the divine plan. Being pure spirit, you are a part of the only intelligence there is, and all the power and understanding of this intelligence are yours to draw upon.

Spiritual Wisdom

« Researchers and inventors give humanity weapons, encouraging their aggressive instincts, but they also give them comfort, encouraging their instinct for laziness. Do they have anything to be happy and proud of in providing people with so many ways to destroy themselves? When humans are not annihilating one another with weapons, they are slowly losing both their physical resistance and their psychic faculties because of all the devices they have at their disposal sparing them all effort. On the face of it, this is progress: yes, the machines are progressing, but not humans! Humans are becoming weaker. This is why those who think about things, including some scientists, are increasingly beginning to doubt whether all this technical progress is contributing to the good of humanity.

Obviously, there is no question of putting a stop to technical progress: it is Cosmic Intelligence that is encouraging humans to conduct research. We must never stop seeking, inventing; we mustn’t neglect any of the possibilities offered to us by physical matter. What we do need to do is take scientific research in a different direction. For, actually, when humans have learned how to work on their psychic matter, they will be able to make full and good use of all the riches to be found on the physical level. Technical progress will only be true progress for them if, alongside it, they also look within and place their efforts under the authority of spirit. »

Sing Your Song

<<We're at a pivotal moment in our collective journey and everything we do depends on our willingness to shine our light, instead of working so hard to hold back the density and darkness. One of our biggest fears is criticism and judgment, it's something I hear from clients all of the time. And yet, it is our willingness to sing our song, to use our voice, to share our heart and light, that allows us to take the next step on our own journey. As I ask my clients, what's the worst thing that can happen to you if someone criticizes you? People can only approve of what they can see themselves doing and that's often far less than they are capable of. We don't need to convince others that the light is a good place to be, we have to show them that we're happy in our own light and that will either encourage them to release the fear of their own joy and abundance, or not. Fear is good for reminding us that pain is one option, but there are many others and if we don't have the courage to sing our own song, who is going to sing it for us?

It's a good day to be shining your light today, and to muster up the courage to sing out loud. If someone doesn't like it, that's OK, it's their prerogative, but don't let the fear of being criticized or judged keep you from singing and from shining.>>

A FORGIVING MOMENT

Don't try to forgive.
Forgiveness is not a 'doing'.
Simply accept that this moment is exactly the way it is right now.
And the past was the way it was.
Accept your non-acceptance in the present.
Forgive your inability to forgive.
Feel your breath, the sensations in your body, the life that burns brightly in you.

Everyone is doing their best, even when it seems like they are doing their worst.
Everyone is dreaming or having a nightmare, battling with pain you may never understand.
You don't have to condone their actions.
You may not be able to wake them up.
You don't have to like what happened.
Simply let go of the illusion
that it could have been any different.
You are different now, anyhow.
Don't focus on something
you have no control over.
The past is a distant land.

Bring your attention back to this moment,
Your source of true power.
Your place of connectedness.

Wake up from the dream
That anyone has any power
To take away your inner peace.

Drop the need to be right.
Embrace the need to be free.
Come out of the story of 'my life'.
Reclaim the moment.

Be here, in your new life.
Show up for this brand new day.

This is forgiveness.

His Strength

“Our work may require greater strength, greater knowledge or greater ability than we seem to possess, or there may greater demands made upon our purse than we can meet. Instead of accepting this apparent lack, let us remember, ‘He performeth the thing that is appointed for me. . . . The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me,’ or some other scriptural passage. The human belief may be that there is a physical, mental, moral, or financial demand made up us greater than our ability to fulfill; but the very moment we turn to that He that is within us, recognizing that He performeth that which is given us to do, He perfecteth that which concerneth us, a weight drops off our shoulders, and the sense of personal responsibility lifts. All of a sudden, are given the necessary ability, which we discover is not our ability at all; it is His ability being expressed through us. Out of our weakness comes strength, but not our strength; it is His strength, and we perform the work through His strength. If it is rest that we need, we turn to Scripture a find: ‘Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.’”

Practising the Presence of God

“Every person who has known dissatisfaction, incompleteness, and frustration will some day learn that there is only one missing link in his entire chain of harmonious living. That is the practice of the presence of God - consciously, daily and hourly, abiding in some great spiritual truth of scripture, and it makes no difference which scripture: Christian, Hebrew, Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist, or Moslem. The Word of God, given to man through inspired saints, sages, seers, or revelators - this is what we need, in any language, from any country, just as long as it is a universal truth.”

Your Contract with Life

"Our Life's mission or Contract, cannot be defined or measured simply by our external life, however.  Your purpose is not only your career or hobby or romantic relationship.  A Contract is your overall relationship to your personal power and your spiritual power.  It is how you work with your energy and whom you give it to.  It is also how much you are willing to surrender to Divine Guidance.  Although a Contract is not the physical details of your life, you can use those details to figure out what your Contract is.  Your life is composed of many facets that shimmer and reflect  both your physical and your internal energy. In attempting to grasp the whole of this reflection, you can discern and define your mission."

A Declaration of Love

« There are many things that could be said about this phrase. Humans are so used to declaring their love, without being aware that when they do so there is an element of self-interest and selfishness that creeps in. They want to attract someone, and they write or speak to the person as poetically as they can, choosing the right gestures, words and tone of voice, in the hope that the person they have chosen will be touched, charmed and delighted and will eventually be won over. And from then on, their loved one must understand that they have been ‘reserved’ and that no one else really has the right to approach them any more. So what really drives humans is an instinct of possessiveness but, above all, a lack of faith in the power of love. Since they do not know the true love that works wonders, they rush to express it in other, concrete ways – in what they say and write, in the gestures they make – with the aim of imprisoning the one they love. And if they claim that it’s the strength of their feelings that makes them act in that way, they are then really admitting their own weakness. Those who truly love do not express it; it is not necessary, for the love is felt – it radiates out.

The only means of attracting love that we have the right to use is light – it is also the only truly effective one. Send gifts of spiritual light to the person you love and want to be loved by, surround them with colours, in the knowledge that light and colours are living entities. When their soul senses the presence of these benevolent entities, it will be grateful to you, and little by little it will open up to you. »

You Are Greatly Blessed

"You are feeling tired, full of tears. You have been struggling hard to be what you think you should be in order to get what you think you need. These are the ways of the will: you have to become this, you have to become that, you have to get this, you have to get that. But you are fortunate, greatly blessed that you became tired and you gave up trying; you gave up the will to succeed; you dropped the hardship you were imposing upon yourself.

In this giving up... the gap,” – no will, no way, no you, just the gap. And, “the beauty, the unknown... fears meet trust. Osho, could it be that this river is flowing towards life, towards you, towards the ocean?” Deva Leena, there is no question, because every river is moving towards the ocean. It is only the man who gets frozen, and then the flow stops.... If you melt in trust, the river starts flowing again. And it has never been the case that any river has forgotten the path and has not reached the ocean.

But remember the gap. And remember Chuang Tzu’s statement, “Easy is right and right is easy.”

And when you forget both, what is right and what is easy, you have arrived at the ocean.

Spiritual Independence

Standing on the bare ground, -
my head bathed by the blithe air,
and uplifted into infinite space, -
all mean egotism vanishes.
I become a transparent eye-ball;
am nothing; I see all;
the currents of the Universal Being
circulate through me;
I am part or particle of God."

Tonglen

Tibetan Buddhist teacher, Pema Chödrön, shares the practice of tonglen as a way of holding suffering and awakening compassion:

“In order to have compassion for others, we have to have compassion for ourselves.

“In particular, to care about other people who are fearful, angry, jealous, overpowered by addictions of all kinds, arrogant, proud, miserly, selfish, mean—you name it—to have compassion and to care for these people, means not to run from the pain of finding these things in ourselves . . . . Instead of fending it off and hiding from it, one could open one’s heart and allow oneself to feel that pain, feel it as something that will soften and purify us and make us far more loving and kind.

“The tonglen practice is a method for connecting with suffering—ours and that which is all around us—everywhere we go. It is a method for overcoming fear of suffering and for dissolving the tightness of our heart. Primarily it is a method for awakening the compassion that is inherent in all of us, no matter how cruel or cold we might seem to be.

“We begin the practice by taking on the suffering of a person we know to be hurting and who we wish to help. For instance, if you know of a child who is being hurt, you breathe in the wish to take away all the pain and fear of that child. Then, as you breathe out, you send the child happiness, joy, or whatever would relieve their pain. This is the core of the practice: breathing in others’ pain so they can be well and have more space to relax and open, and breathing out, sending them relaxation or whatever you feel would bring them relief and happiness. However, we often cannot do this practice because we come face to face with our own fear, our own resistance, anger, or whatever our personal pain, our personal stuckness, happens to be at that moment.

“At that point you can change the focus and begin to do tonglen for what you are feeling and for millions of others just like you who at that very moment of time are feeling exactly the same stuckness and misery. Maybe you are able to name your pain. You recognize it clearly as terror or revulsion or anger or wanting to get revenge. So you breathe in for all the people who are caught with that same emotion and you send out relief or whatever opens up the space for yourself and all those countless others. Maybe you can’t name what you’re feeling. But you can feel it—a tightness in the stomach, a heavy darkness, or whatever. Just contact what you are feeling and breathe in, take it in—for all of us and send out relief to all of us.

“. . . [You] can do tonglen for all the people who are just like you, for everyone who wishes to be compassionate but instead is afraid, for everyone who wishes to be brave but instead is a coward. . . .

“Breathe in for all of us and breathe out for all of us.

“Use what seems like poison as medicine. Use your personal suffering as the path to compassion for all beings.”

Leave Others Alone ... Improve Yourself ...

« So you feel driven by a great ideal of fairness and generosity, and you want this ideal to become a reality in the world? That’s very good, but it’s not enough. If you do not adopt the right attitude, you will be bound to come up against certain people around you who do not want to listen, and after a while, seeing that you are not managing to convince them despite the soundness of your arguments and the effort you are making, you will end up discouraged and bitter. So how should you go about it? Quite simply, leave others alone, don’t try to convince them at all costs, but continue to learn and to improve yourself… That way, gradually, whenever you have to spend time with them, you will impress them with your self-control, your lucidity and the clarity of your arguments, and they will feel you have something to teach them.

So long as you desperately try to show people who refuse to listen that they are on the wrong path, not only will you not succeed, but you will sink with them into muddy terrain. Work with the light, and one day when they meet you, before you even open your mouth they will understand that you are in the right.  »

Accessing The Wisdom of the Heart

Dear Ones,

On the Solstice June 21, 2014, a new awakening occurred as the Stargate of the Heart was opened through the dedication of Lightworkers all over the world. Access to the Wisdom of the Heart was created within the field of consciousness for all who will listen.

The Heavenly realms were opened with the assistance of the Archangels and Beings of Light from the home stars of the committed souls who came together in sacred ceremony to honor the Light on that most auspicious day. Those who participated received the most powerful download of Divine Love ever received to this date. As the codes of the Stargate were activated, a new opening to the starry realms occurred.

For the first time, you were freely offered access to the gifts that seeded your soul before your incarnations into the physical world.

Each person that participated felt the calling in their soul from their home star. The sacred ceremony that accompanied the powerful intentions of millions of beings allowed the precious gifts and the talents latent within your soul to be brought into present time within your heart. The Angelic Dimensions, Ascended Masters and the Beings of Light from the starry realms offered direct connection to the core of Awakened Light.

Your soul gifts were illuminated and activations were provided so you could bring these precious talents and skills home to your heart where you can access them in daily life.

Anchoring Light

Since December 22, 2012, you have been anchoring Light in your physical bodies at an unprecedented rate. Your new awakening energy has impacted the lower 3 chakras especially. The sloughing of the old systems caused what you may have considered to be tremendous pain and upheaval in your lives. The truth is that you have been purified by the force of these tremendous waves of Light frequencies so you could become a vessel to hold the power of Divine Light. This is what you have been asking for. Any associations with past emotional trauma have been lifted. It is only your old habitual patterns that will reclaim this trauma into your present life.

Throughout the remaining months of 2014, you will find yourself having a certain Knowing, your inner resources have been enriched, and your life will begin to feel more purposeful. Invite your Soul gifts to manifest in your life. The doorway is now open. Access to the wisdom of your heart has begun, and this inspires you with ways to use your gifts. You will feel lighter now. Divine Light was blasted into your cellular structure on the Solstice. You are vibrating at a higher frequency. You may even feel a bit airborne for a while until this new frequency is integrated and anchored within your body.

With conscious active awareness you will be able to rise like a phoenix from the ashes of your old life, freed and connected to Source energy through the core of your being. Your physical body is now your vehicle for awakening consciousness. Do not mistake the sloughing of old patterns as the old ways coming back to haunt you. They are surfacing to be released. Just let them go without attention. Become more attuned to your heart’s intelligence and be aware that you are blending your most eternally connected Divine Self with your most human self. You can now allow your soul’s gifts to surface and bless the world in new ways.

Here is a helpful prayer:

Divine Presence,

Thank you for the blessings and gifts given to my Soul. May I gain awareness so I can access these gifts and expand my perception of new life. Help me to know clearly in my heart what I came on Earth to offer. May I recognize the value of the gifts I have been given. Thank you for the strength and courage to use these gifts wisely. I ask that my I AM Presence and that of all beings on the planet awaken in our hearts right now as this Divine Light illuminates our consciousness.

Thank you for opening the way for the Earth to be honored and cared for in true cooperation and love. For these and all our blessings I AM truly grateful, And so it is.

The Assistance of Nature

Your heart’s awakening during the Solstice affords new access to the wisdom laying dormant inside. Create a daily spiritual practice of opening the channels to receive your heart’s wisdom. Know that within your heart is the Truth of your journey on Earth at this time.

Your heart holds the connection to your Soul’s Destiny. Each person who is awakening in this time is asking for this pure alignment within their beings. Those who may not be so awakened are very conscious of a longing within them that aches to be fulfilled. Many ways are found to fill this longing — none of them are satisfactory until one comes back into the heart, the only place of true fulfillment.

Creating access to the wisdom of the heart becomes an adventure. As always, Nature is providing tools and inspiration to provide direct connection. Your life becomes a process of opening to the Light like the face of a flower turns to the sun. When the hard knots of the heart are allowed to be the buds of new awakening, the pure light of Heaven encourages them to gently open and receive.

All the trees, in a perfect demonstration for humans learning how to be, share their strength and alignment from Heaven to Earth. They show you how this alignment appears within your body by their strong and straight trunks. Those trees whose trunks have a pronounced curve are demonstrating for you how they follow the Light, a wise choice for all.

When you let your roots permeate deep into the Earth, you can take in the nourishment being offered by the Mother who nurtures all. When you allow yourself to receive from the heart of the Mother, you bring new vitality and well-being into the core of your body. This stirs the dormant seeds at the base of your spine and fresh juices begin to flow. You start to feel a new connection to life which sparks your curiosity and opens your eyes to the beauty all around you. Mother Nature is offering a sparkling, magical dance nowadays that is enticing you to come home to your body in a whole new way.

The trees show you what it means to be strong and stay in alignment with Source energy. They demonstrate the power that all can have with vertical access between Heaven and Earth. As branches of a strong oak tree expand, new leaves open to receive pure Light, which is converted into nourishment. Letting yourself be fed by the light of God feeds you in a way that nothing else can.

When you can sit with your back against a tree, your spine is reminded of this vertical access between Heaven and Earth. Your cerebral spinal fluid starts to flow with greater awareness. You feel like you can stand tall and be strong in a new way. Your heart receives this nourishment and a higher frequency of energy sweeps through your blood stream into every cell and fiber of your being.

At Home at Last

This new nourishment sparks your creativity. There is a new settled feeling inside that allows you to feel more at home in your body. There is a bright sense of well-being awakening in the base of your spine, and many are beginning to feel safe to be in a human form for the first time in this life. The coveted element of safety will not be fed by any situation or person in the outer world. Well-being only comes from the nurturing aspects of the Earth when you allow yourself to receive them deeply into the core of your being. These frequencies prepare you to receive your heart’s wisdom.

Nature is a great awakener and can bring you into present time in a heartbeat. Only in this holy instant of the Now will you have access to the wisdom of your heart. Seek out places in Nature to inspire you in this process of coming home to yourself. For indeed a new process of awakening is underway and since 2012 Nature is playing a key role. The elemental beings and the realms of the Earth are offering you an opportunity to know yourself. The Longing

Deep within my soul is a longing.
Sometimes I feel the energy of it
trying to break free;
jumping out of my skin;
grabbing on to the closest passer-by
and shouting,
"do you feel it too?"

I know it's not just me.

When I look into your face,
your eyes
and the water that flows within them,
I see myself
looking back
as if I were inside.

I know then that you understand.
You get it.

We are here together to recognize the longing.
And to let it out.
Let it be.
Free it from its hold.
Follow it.
Allow it to bring us home,
where it will rest.
It will rest.
And then disappear.

Or maybe it becomes something else.

I say to myself,
"follow the longing.
Surely it knows the way."

To Be Alone

To be alone, which is not a philosophy of loneliness, is obviously to be in a state of revolution against the whole setup of society; not only this society, but the communist society, the fascist, every form of society as organized brutality, organized power. And that means an extraordinary perception of the effects of power. Sir, have you noticed those soldiers rehearsing? They are not human beings any more, they are machines, they are your sons and my sons, standing there in the sun. This is happening here, in America, in Russia, and everywhere; not only at the governmental level, but also at the monastic level, belonging to monasteries, to orders, to groups who employ astonishing power. And it is only the mind which does not belong that can be alone.

And aloneness is not something to be cultivated. You see this? When you see all this, you are out, and no governor or president is going to invite you to dinner. Out of that aloneness there is humility. It is this aloneness that knows love; not power. The ambitious man, religious or ordinary, will never know what love is. So, if one sees all this, then one has this quality of total living and therefore total action. This comes through self-knowledge.

Face The Fact and See What Happens

We have all had the experience of tremendous loneliness, where books, religion, everything is gone and we are tremendously, inwardly, lonely, empty. Most of us can't face that emptiness, that loneliness, and we run away from it. Dependence is one of the things we run to, depend on, because we can't stand being alone with ourselves. We must have the radio or books or talking, incessant chatter about this and that, about art and culture. So we come to that point when we know there is this extraordinary sense of self-isolation. We may have a very good job, work furiously, write books, but inwardly there is this tremendous vacuum. We want to fill that and dependence is one of the ways. We use dependence, amusement, church work, religions, drink, women, a dozen things to fill it up, cover it up. If we see that it is absolutely futile to try to cover it up, completely futile, not verbally, not with conviction and therefore agreement and determination, but if we see the total absurdity of it , then we are faced with a fact. It is not a question of how to be free from dependence; that's not a fact; that's only a reaction to a fact. Why don't I face the fact and see what happens? The problem now arises of the observer and the observed. The observer says, "I am empty; I don't like it" and runs away from it. The observer says, "I am different from the emptiness." But the observer is the emptiness; it is not emptiness seen by an observer. The observer is the observed. There is a tremendous revolution in thinking, in feeling, when that takes place.

Wake Up With The Sun Shining in Your Heart

« In the morning when you wake up, your mind may be fuddled, and it may be hard for you to reconnect with the creative, luminous powers of life. It depends a great deal on how you experienced the previous day, especially the hours just before bedtime.

Morning is linked to evening, evening to morning, and each of them must be prepared in advance. Just as, in the morning, you should be thinking about the coming evening, so in the evening you should be thinking about the following morning. At night it is very important, as you go to sleep, not to leave for the other world in any old state inwardly, for you are going to have to stand before the powers of heaven. So you must prepare for this journey in the contemplation and silence of your soul. And once you are in bed, if you experience any agitation, any anxiety, do not remain there. It takes great inner strength to be able to defend against this kind of disquiet when you are lying down; when you are standing it is easier to respond. So, get up, walk about for a while, slowly do a few movements, concentrate on light, and only go to bed again when you feel calm.  »

You Would Not Have The Desire Without The Means To Fulfill It.

The Gabriel Messages #52

Dear One,

All things in life are a part of the Higher Power. This includes the desires of your heart. You have within you all that it takes to fulfill these desires and create the life you want to have. Know that each time you feel a deep longing, the seed of fulfillment is inherent within it.

There is a re-awakening within you, showing you a potential for all that you desire. This re-awakening results from your connection to God and the remembrance of the Angels who are guiding you always. As you commune more and more with this energy, your life will begin to take on the magical qualities you desire.

It begins with letting go. When you know in your heart that all your needs will be abundantly met, you can release the part of you that wants acquisition. You will now be free to discover the true desires in your heart. True desires have qualities that are fulfilled when the desires have been manifested. If the desire is for money, there is a quality your heart seeks to have fulfilled — a sense of safety, an abundant lifestyle, or perhaps, simply freedom from worry.

Becoming aware of these qualities allows you to take action to gain these first, which will then allow the physical world to manifest in a form which is in your highest good. The first step after discovering the qualities you seek, is always to ask for what you want, making sure you clearly state the qualities you are seeking to have. The Angelic Dimensions stand ready to assist you in the process of gaining all you desire in your life. Clarity is key.

Practice

It is truly God's Plan to have all beings live in a state of abundant joy and freedom from fears, with peace, harmony and love in the world as well as within families. These qualities are not too much to ask for in your prayers because they are the natural state of balance in God's world. Your prayers you offer in order to attain them opens your mind and heart to fulfillment in your personal life.

It is also vital to be in the company of like-minded souls who believe that miracles are not only possible, they are also willing to have them manifest in their own lives. It is clear that in some situations in the world, only a miracle of divine proportions can create a solution. With enough people believing miracles are possible, there is no doubt that creative solutions, which are beyond the mind's ability to understand at this time, will occur.

Begin now to allow miracles to manifest in your world. Be the first one to ask for divine intervention, and to share your belief with others, so that all may live in a new level of conscious awareness and abundant joy.

Those desires in your heart are there to remind you that miracles happen, and God provides you the ways to have all the good you desire in your life. Know that you are blessed and profoundly loved. Call on the Divine Spirit and the Angels then allow the desires of your heart to be fulfilled.

Remember, you would not have the desire without the means to fulfill it.

Littleness Versus Magnitude

22 Be not content with littleness, but be sure you understand what littleness is and why you could never be content with it. Littleness is the offering you gave yourself. You offered this in place of magnitude, and you accepted it. Everything in this world is little because it is a world made out of littleness in the strange belief that littleness can content you. When you strive for anything in this world with the belief that it will bring you peace, you are belittling yourself and blinding yourself to glory. Littleness and glory are the choices open to your striving and your vigilance. You will always choose one at the expense of the other.

23 Yet what you do not realize each time you choose is that your choice is your evaluation of yourself. Choose littleness and you will not have peace, for you will have judged yourself unworthy of it. And whatever you offer as a substitute is much too poor a gift to satisfy you. It is essential that you accept the fact, and accept it gladly, that there is no form of littleness that can ever content you. You are free to try as many as you wish, but all you will be doing is to delay your homecoming. For you will be content only in magnitude, which is your home.

24 There is a deep responsibility you owe yourself, and one which you must learn to remember all the time. The lesson will seem hard at first, but you will learn to love it when you realize that it is true and constitutes a tribute to your power. You who have sought and found littleness, remember this: Every decision which you make stems from what you think you are and represents the value that you put upon yourself. Believe the little can content you, and by limiting yourself, you will not be satisfied. For your function is not little, and it is only by finding your function and fulfilling it that you can escape from littleness.

You Know the Psalm, I know the Shepherd.

PSALM 23 READING ~ A little story!

There once was a Shakespearean actor who was known everywhere for his one-man shows of readings and recitations from the classics. He would always end his performance with a reading of Psalm 23.

Each night, without exception, as the actor began his recitation "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want"... the crowd would listen attentively. And then, at the conclusion of the psalm, they would rise in thunderous applause in appreciation of the actor's incredible ability to bring the verse to life.

But one night, just before the actor was to offer his customary recital of Psalm 23, a young man from the audience spoke up. "Sir, do you mind if tonight I recite Psalm 23"?

The actor was quite taken aback by this unusual request, but he allowed the young man to come forward and stand front and center on the stage to recite the Psalm, knowing that the ability of this unskilled youth would be no match for his own talent.

With a soft voice, the young man began to recite the words of the Psalm. When he was finished, there was no applause. There was no standing ovation as on other nights. All that could be heard was the sound of weeping. The audience had been so moved by the young man's recitation that every eye was full of tears.

Amazed by what he had heard, the actor said to the youth, "I don't understand. I have been performing Psalm 23 for years. I have a lifetime of experience and training, but I have never been able to move an audience as you have tonight. Tell me, what is your secret?"

The young man quietly replied, "Well sir, you know the Psalm. I know the Shepherd."

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
